The unique properties of pumice are the result of its origin as volcanic lava that underwent the simultaneous conditions of rapid cooling and rapid depressurization. These conditions produced a material that combines both light weight and a mildly abrasive nature. This combination of properties of CR Minerals pumice accounts for many of the industrial applications we serve.
