CR Minerals produces a variety of pumice mineral fillers to serve a diverse industrial and consumer products customer base. It’s Navajo Brand® and SafSil® product line effectively replaces diatomite, silica, and nepheline syenite mineral fillers in applications ranging from paints and coatings to cosmetics. CR Minerals offers both Navajo Brand® and SafSil® mineral fillers in sizes ranging from 5 micron to 12 micron.
All SafSil® mineral fillers are very low in crystalline silica, with respirable (less than 10 micron particle size) crystalline silica content of less than 0.1%. This makes CR Minerals’ SafSil® products health-safe, especially compared to high crystalline silica mineral fillers such as pulverized silica. Because of this health-safe feature, SafSil® mineral fillers are gaining increasing acceptance in many applications.

From our high purity pumice deposit and modern processing facility, we produce SafSil® (amorphous silica) Navajo Brand® (pumice), PFM (Pumice Filtration Media)®, and Mine (pumice) products that are superior performance minerals serving a wide range of applications. Our SafSil® products are health-safe, offering very low levels of crystalline silica to minimize the risk of silicosis when used.

We offer more than 20 standard sizes of products, ranging from 1-1/4 inch aggregate to micron sized powders, in a variety of packaging options.
